Experience Kambo

Kambo is the name given to the traditional Shamanic frog poison cleanse that is used to strengthen and heal the mind, body and spirit. The scientific name for this frog ally is Phyllomedusa bicolor or “Giant Monkey Frog”. Over recent years there has been much interest in Kambo's secretion, as it contains powerful bio-active peptides that facilitate a deep cleansing of the body, mind and spirit. The spirit of Kambo has been used traditionally amongst many tribes in the jungle and is now finding it’s way out into the Western world, empowering many to reconnect to their truth and heal all aspects of their being.

Each tribe has its own way of taking and giving Kambo, but it was commonly used for three reasons. Kambo was used to enhance the minds and bodies of hunters. After receiving the frog medicine, hunters were able to run faster and longer, eat less, sleep less and it was believed that Kambo made the hunters “invisible” to the animals they were hunting due to Kambo’s ability to remove their “human smell” for a period of time. A second use amongst indigenous peoples was as a medicine. It is used to treat Malaria, infections, and snake bites amongst other illnesses the tribespeople encountered. Lastly, Kambo was used to clear Panema, or dark or negative energy. When Panema is cleared, everything becomes easier, obstacles can be overcome and life flows more naturally.

Although most people in the western world are not spending their time hunting, the mechanisms that take place in the human body after a Kambo treatment support individuals in becoming more aligned with their truth and higher self, despite what their occupation is. Because Kambo supports our bodies in removing physical toxicity, it provides us with the strength, energy, relief and empowerment that was displaced by the toxic load on our body and organs of detoxification. Without this excess toxicity, our bodies can harmonize and switch into a higher frequency of function that allows us to heal, repair, and cultivate cellular energy, ultimately, supporting us in just feeling better! In addition to physical toxins from our environment and food, our bodies also accumulate emotional and energetic toxicity. Thought patterns or traumas that are stored in our body, mind and spirit that take up energy and space that we could be using for growth and expression of our gifts. Kambo has a powerful way of also detoxing these unhealthy thoughts, emotions and traumas that affect how we interact with others and show up in this world, leaving us ultimately more of our true selves, and less of all of the accumulated or programed information that does not align with our truth! With the spaciousness created from removing physical, emotional and spiritual toxicity, many are gifted with a monumental surge of empowerment, honesty and energy to accomplish the things that they desire most in life.

Kambo contains many peptides (short chains of amino acids), many of which are bioactive which means they have an affinity and selectivity for binding with receptor sites in humans. When Kambo enters the body, our cell receptor sites open and allow it to enter the cells. As a natural substance that the body recognizes, Kambo is utilized by the body with no stress to the cells. Some of these peptides are neuropeptides, special peptides that are produced in the brain to help neurons communicate with each other. They can transmit signals with information in several directions and in reverse, they can also act as hormones, neuromodulators, and neuro-hormones. Neuromodulators have the ability to activate and deactivate other neurotransmitters such as Serotonin, Dopamine and Histamine as well as Neuropeptides such as as insulin, oxytocin and vasopressin. A persons mood, energy level, pain, pleasure, weight, cognitive reasoning, ability to form memories, and immune system regulation are all tied to neuropeptides. Other potent peptides found in Kambo support the body in releasing toxins from the lymphatic system, glandular system, digestive system and has the ability to detox intracellularly, making it an excellent treatment for infections that reside inside of the cell such as Lyme Disease. This cocktail of bioactive peptides has an extremely anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-parasitic effect in the body, presenting an effective therapy for invasive, chronic infections and co-infections.
